I am currently in the market for a DL1000. I am in the Golden area and have quite a few dealers around the Denver Metro area. The closest local dealer seems to be decent although I really only have one service appointment with them from my current bike to go by (I recently moved into the area). I test rode a 2005 leftover DL1000 they had in stock and they claim they are only able to slightly move off sticker on it; for a 2006 they are asking MSRP. I am a few weeks away from purchasing; however, before I start the negotiations I wanted to inquire about pricing in the area.
To any folks in this area of the state, what have you paid? Do you have experiences with some dealers that are better than others? Also, I don't see any major differences on 2005 vs 2006 except for the color; does anybody know of major changes to 2006?
Any information anybody has on what they paid on either an 05 or 06 in this area is greatly appreciated.
