I've installed a Starcom1 system under the seat.
I have connected to it an MP3 player and Garmin Quest satnav.
The Garmin Quest is is fitted to the handle bars and the audio feed out of the satnav runs back under the tank to the Starcom1.
When the engine is running you hear the engine interference along with the indicators etc.
Any way of cancelling out the electrical pickup on this audio cable?

I'm certainly no electronics guru, (as you'd realize if you saw the speghetti dinner that is my accessory wiring), but I had similar interference with my XM. Check all of your power and audio cables. Make sure all are well insulated/isolated and that everything is properly grounded. In my case, it was an audio feed coupling that was near the rear tank "seam" that was introducing the noise. I relocated it and the problem is solved. I'm not saying some sort of add-on filter won't be necessary in your case, just that I'd always prefer instead to eliminate the source of the noise if possible.
