Im planning to mount set of Hella's FF50 on my 650. I had already mounted Eastern Beaver Lo Beam Switch. I have a Blue Sea installed...
What is the proper way to connect them? Do i have to have separate fuse, relay for the kit OR i can connect them straight to the BlueSea. I would like to mount switch On/Off for aux lights. Im not planning to use them during the day, night only. What are my options...thanks a lot.

You need a relay or a switch heavy enough to handle the draw of the lights. A fuse in the B/S fuse box is fine. You want a 15A switch to handle 2 55W lights. Otherwise, use a relay. The relay contacts will last longer sealed in the box than the typical switch too.

Or, you could use the new LED driving lights (VisionX) and not worry about the 55W lights.....just sayin..

That looks like one of JohnofChar's diagrams at VSRI. As usual, it's fine structurally. I think he meant the 15 amp fuse is either inline to the battery or in a fuse box.

I still have couple of more questions:
1) The black (neg) wire from Aux lights i will run to my BlueSea - what fuse i should use with it on the Sea?? or i should go to the battery?
2) The red (pos) from the Aux lights goes to 87 on relay.
3) 85 goes to ground on my Blue sea ?
4) 30 goes with inline fuse 15A to the battery
5) and where goes the wire from 86 ?? what is 12 switched volt supply?
6) how i connect the on/off switch?
thx a lot

1. The black wire is ground. It goes to one of the - posts. Only the + wires are fused.
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. Either with an inline 15A fuse to the battery or directly (unfused wire) to a 15A fuse in the Blue Seas.
5. 86 goes to one lead on the switch. The other lead on the switch goes to a wire that is hot only when the ignition is on. http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Bike_Specific/VStrom/body_vstrom.html#brakeadaptor is a handy way to establish that connection. Separate the connector to the rear brake switch and insert the adapter between and you do not need to tap into the bike's wiring harness. Connect one switch wire to the adapter's purple wire and the other to terminal 86 on the relay.
6. http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Switches/switches.html is a good switch
Get some help. The level of your questions indicates you need more than written or pictured instructions.

thks GW.
Like i said i have a BSea and to install it i use a EB connector the one you showed. Is there different way to get to wire that is hot without taping into bike's wiring harness?
Im not sure what i was thinking writing at point 1?? I will go to the battery (-)
At 4 i have a spare 15A fuse and will use it..:)
So now i have a to figure out 5? And i use EB swich with Lo Beam Cut adapter...:)
Thanks again:)

Yes, that's exactly the lights I was talking about. As soon as I can save up the money, they'll be my next farkle. I have a 3 watt LED flashlight and it's super bright, throws out a hell of a lot of light. I'm thinking about the 12 watt or 24 watt version. They are the perfect solution for a Wee since it only has an additional 75 watts of power to use.
