I noticed last week that both front and rear tires had given up the ghost. I ordered my tires off Amazon.com and blew the dust off my TireQwik standard set (http://www.tireqwik.com/tireqwik/index.html) that I purchased about a month ago. As this was my first time I figured it would take two day (1-2 hrs. at a time) to swap the tires out, and I didn't have my new rubber yet so I remove today and replace tomorrow. I got the old used up rubber of in about an hour this morning and was just about to get cleaned up when the UPS guy shows up. His timing couldn't have been better if I'd planned it, they never seem to show at my house until very late in the day and I work second shift. I quickly jumped into action and mounted the new tires (not as hard as some would have you believe) and balanced them out, all in time to get cleaned up and ride the bike to work. I had planned on not riding for a couple of days so this really made my day.

If there are any out there looking at the DIY tire changers but still reserved, I say go for it, the freedom to do this yourself is very handy, I may even buy those TKC80s and tool around on the weekends.

BTW, the TireQwik kit worked flawlessly, I give two thumbs up.
