Before I start breaking out the tools, I was wondering if there is a way to remove the "side-to-side" throttle tube play on a Wee? It's always bugged me and now that I'm getting ready to install a Kaoko throttle lock I feel it's time to remove the play if possible.
Just thought I'd ask before peeking inside the throttle assembly.

Edited to clarify "side to side" slack not twisting slack.

The owners manual addresses how to remove the side-to-side play of a throttle tube? Sorry about that I didn't think that would be in there. Thanks!

Sorry....no it doesn't, I thought you were refering to vertical play. The entire throttle assembly can be moved left/right by bolts, but that is the extent of what I know that can be done.

Sorry about the confusion. I re-read my post and can see I forgot to mention the fact I was talking about side-to-side slop. I've edited the title and original post to address.
I have a feeling I'm stuck with it but I figured I'd query the gurus before cracking it open to confirm my suspicion. Thanks again.
Love this bike. Well except maybe the seat. :)

I stuck a NEP CC4 throttle locker between the tube ridge and the switch housing. I hardly ever use it because of the electronic cruise control also installed but it limits play nicely.
