Hi everyone, not sure how to do this so please don't lable me as spam. I use to go to work when it was still dark in the morning and bright out when I got of work. My sun glasses didn't fit well under my helmet so I used static tinting on my face shield. My wife liked my shield so much she made me cut one out for her helmet. I usually sell them for $9.50 to the riders where I used to work. But for fellow Troopers I will sell them $8.50 plus $4.95 shipping and handling in the U.S. If anyone is intrested PM me and I will answer any of your questions. Attached is a picture of the kit, how well it stores under the stroms seat and my wife's shiny helmet with the tint on it. Like I said I am new to this and if you have any complaints please let me know.

Thank you for your time

Hi Phil...Nice idea!

I noticed the tint is applied to a HJC helmet. Do you use the same pattern for a Shoei or an Aria? Or do you have visor shape specific patterns?

TIA, Joe

Hi Joe,

I use the same pattern for all helmets for the curve around the bottom of the faceshield. Then you can use a straight edge to cut across the the top to match your shield height.

For anyone intrested. The kit comes with 1 storage tube, 1 card for removing the airbubbles from the tint and 2 shield tints. for the price listed above. The kit shown above shown above shows the tint already cut down to fit my wife's HJC helmet. t

They're static cling? Meaning you put it on and pull it off repeatedly? If so, how do they hold up - as in, how careful do you need to be to avoid tearing it?

I have been using the same screen for a year now. I have ride in 110+ degrees during the summer and down into the 20's during the winter. The screens hold up very well.

Static tint? What exactly is it made of and would you ship one to OZ?

Any UV protection in the tint material? My sunglasses protect my eyes from UV ratiation so if I switched I would want the same protection. It would work OK if your clear shiled had UV protection....some do.

This tint has a 20% visable light transmission and some UV protection. How much UV protection is not listed anywhere on the company's web site. Sorry that I can not be of more help.
