Garmin Motorcycle Cable--Sound?

I can't find any documentation on the 2610 Motorcycle Connector that tells me if the micro plug is mono or stereo (for helmet speakers.) Anybody know?

I am buying a Starcom1 Advance and verified that the plug on the Garmin bike mounting kit is a smaller mono plug (2.5mm) compared with my MP3 player mini-stereo plug which I believe is 3.5mm. The Garmin mounting kit was purchased with my 276c so I'd be surprised if the 2610 is different.
