California Scientific Windshield

I've just seen the website for California Scientific.

They have a windshield that is:

Does anyone have one of these? I'm considering buying one, but I'd like some opinions from current owners.

Looks nice except that it looks kind of unfinished in the front. :?

At the bottom of the description, check out the more pictures here link. It looks like they just set the windshield on the mounts. The black plastic strips that come with your stock windshield would still go over the front of the mounts. For some reason they are absent from this photo. I think the Givi windshield would probably look better. I wonder if this one has any functional advantage. The Givi is about $105, this one is $185.

I have the "high" CalSci shield on my Wee and really like it, though if I'd do it over, I'd get the medium height shield (easier to see over) and raise it for trips. I've done the bracket mod to lean it back some and used the included washers to rake it back further. The guy selling them is really helpful, too!

I tried one & it didn't do much for me - I sent it back. Be aware there is a restocking fee if you do the same...
