Drove to a city an hour away to test ride a bicycle and came home with the Olympia Airglide Coat and Pants. How does that happen?!:p

Decided to stop in at Hully Gully Motorsports in London Ontario and discovered they are carrying Olympia wear now. Previously I could only find it in the States. I've been planning on getting the Airglide set anyways sooooo.......

I got some nice summer weight, textile gloves too-Shift Stealth. :)

That's good to know. How did their pricing compare to the US dealers?

How was the service? When I was last there, admittedly about nine years ago, Hully Gully was awful, and a stark contrast to the friendly and helpful people at Inglis Cycle.

The pricing was very comparable, within $30-50, well worth not having to have them shipped or driving to the Sates to get them and actually being able to try them on in the store before buying.

In fact I saved a great deal by being able to buy a coat they had had in stock for a while, at the "old" price, which leads me to their customer service....

It was tremendous and I was already thinking about sending a note to them to congratulate the two young people that served me.

A young woman first made sure I had found everything I wanted that they had on the floor. When it became obvious I would have to order stuff, she found the right guy for doing that and stuck around to chat bikes.
The young man who did the ordering spent considerable time searching for the size of jacket I needed, because he was sure he'd seen one and found it tucked away, where it had been put for a customer that never showed up to buy it. He saved me $50 over ordering it because it was at a previous price, when the CA $ had been stronger.

We were there for about an hour and everyone we talked to was very helpful and friendly.

The store has changed a lot since you were there last. Complete reno, larger and much more stock. Very good selection of accessories and riding gear, bags, gloves etc. We've bought a fair bit there over the last few years.

We've never had a bike serviced there though, so can't comment on that.

We've had good experiences at Inglis as well...bought a Joe Rocket riding set there a few years ago at their big spring sale/open house.
London is the closest for us to find any good motorcycle gear...not much available in Sarnia. Easier to cross the border to shop.

I picked up my Olympia gear this year too and I love it. I was going to just get the Airglide pants but ended up grabbing the Air Transitions jacket too (had to get a men's jacket for my freakishly long arms!!!) Funny how that happens :). So far in the cold they have been amazing. Hoping to get to try them in some WARMER weather. Thanks Footloose for answering my questions about the gear previously and glad you had a good experience at Hully Gully. I bought my Frogg Toggs through them and when I had a small issue with them, they were excellent at fixing the problem right away. I was impressed!!!

Ottawa Good Time Centre carries Olympia along with Rev'It gear. Have an Airglide 2 jacket for summer and an AST jacket for the rest of the year. The AST is my favourite jacket. Olympia gear rocks! These days I buy most of my gear online. There seems to be a lot bigger selection and prices are compariable or better even including shipping from the US.
