New 2006 DL1000 Owner

I should have my bike by this Friday. It will be shipped in from Ohio where I have bought my previous bikes. I have heard nothing but good stuff about the VStrom. I just don't know where to start in adding new things like a seat, windshield and bags. Any suggestions?

Well, lessee,

You will need to get used to the stock DL first & then see if the windshield and seat work for you.

I have put on (kinda in this order):
SW Motech engine guards
SW Motech center stand
tank bag
Stebel compact air horn
Suzuki gel seat
power commander
LED signals and solid state flasher
powerlet port
Givi side racks and bags
Givi top case & rack
Scorpion exhaust

Welcome to the site. I only have a corbin seat and givi sidecases for right now. Going with some engine guards next and then a top case.

When I got the bike, I decided that I wasn't going to put no stinkin' top case on it. But my wife has one on her AA500 and it is SO convenient. I don't think I could get by without mine now...
