I hope to be installing a new Eastern Beaver CP8 soon. I'm wondering what to do with all the ground wires from added circuits. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me to run ground wires all the way back to the battery or fuse panel. I think a common grounding strip or lug and one lead running to the battery or panel would be a cleaner installation.

Anyone else do something similar? Are there any grounding strips (multiple contacts) available? Couldn't find any with a quick search, although I do remember seeing something a while back.

I have a grounding block at the front of the bike going to the fuse block ground with a 10ga wire. Something like http://www.amotostuff.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=02207&Category_Code=dl650_electrical is commonly used but I just picked up a Radio Shack barrier block and jumper. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103227 All connections are made with ring terminals.

Thanks. The amotostuff one is what I remember seeing, but the Radio Shack barrier and jumper is perfect. Will have to see if I can find similar here in Canada.
