I have an 07 650 and want to add a couple more farkles, namely a centerstand first, followed by a skidplate (with option for highway pegs). My understanding is that the Amotostuff skidplate is the only one that has a highway peg option. Is this true? If so, then that is clearly the skidplate for me. Based on this, is there one centerstand in particular that fits best with said skidplate?

I would also be interested to know if anyone out there suggests an alternative to the skidplate-mounted highway pegs. I am 6'1" and tend to get some cramping in the legs on long trips. I tried some funny looking pegs attached to my H&B crashbars, but ultimately they just weren't in the right position for added comfort. I am also NOT interested in lowering my OEM footpegs, as I tried that already and was not happy with it. I have read a few posts regarding different saddles offering more extension in the legs, but wonder if there have been some other ingenious methods created by the fine members of Stromtroopers.com!

Thanks for the help,
Z

What seat are you using? If you want your legs stretched out and you are riding with the stock 650 seat you're not going to get too far. Looking into seat options could be beneficial to your overall comfort
