Just picked up my DL 1000 K3 this week. My dealer threw in the factory bags and I had the center stand installed. I also had a 6" LED strip installed in the reflector on the trunk lid and both it and the tail light are tied into a Back Off module.
I've owned over a dozen bikes and this has got to be the most FUN all around machine I've been on. I look forward to getting it broke in so I can really check out that motor.

Threw in saddle bags? You mean you did not get a discount on the price of the bike and instead he "threw in" the bags? You paid for them one way or another...

*I negotiated a good deal $$ for my bike last week, the last remaining new Yellow 03, but the dealer only agreed to my offer to purchase price if I purchased at another decent price> The Kappa - Suzuki
saddlebags already mounted...

So, As long as everyone is happy is all that matters. *Nothing is really FREE.

You are correct. I paid list price for the bike and my dealer had to order the bags for me. He didn't charge me for installing the luggage or center stand. He also sold me a set of Frog Toggs for $40.
I had been looking for a new yellow K3 in this area and he had it. Daytona and Crystal River both only had Demo's.
I just got back from a 200 mile ride and am really pleased with the V- Strom.

I also rode my bike 200 miles the first and only day around alot of mountain curves and the freeway. I have only been able to ride once this week... The weather here in NorCal has been both cold and Rainy.

I am very impressed with this bike so far.
