I'm interested in trading my 2006 SV650S for a DL650. Interested in either ABS or non-.

My bike:
- 2006 SV650S, had all maintenance done
- About 4400 miles (still riding)
- LSL handlebar riser kit (retail $430) (stock clip-ons and triple clamp included) -- the handlebar position is close to upright
- Bar ends both stock and aftermarket (bought after the pics below)
- Spiegler stainless steel brake lines
- Givi topcase rack
- Spencer (greatdaytoride.com) seat mods to both rider and passenger seat including long-distance material (retail $100 and just done April 2009)
- Spare clutch cable
- Frame sliders
- Rear spools
- Michelin Pilot Power tires - over 2,000 miles left, more if you ride conservatively like me
- Aftermarket clear turn signals with amber bulbs in front (stock in rear)

Not included or maybe-included with my bike (i.e., just ignore in the pics below):
- Givi E52 topcase with backrest, integrated brake lights, and luggage rack (but depending on if your bike would come with a topcase and what kind, maybe)
- Maybe including Nelson-Rigg CL-850 touring saddlebags (again, depending on whether your bike comes with saddlebags)
- Givi windscreen
- Tank bag

The right side bar end, frame slider, brake lever, and part of the exhaust pipe have some scratches from a very low speed (~1 mph) drop while I was turning it in a parking garage. That is the only time the bike has ever been down. There are also some small scratches on the swing arm from the rear spool stand. I have to take pics of that but won't be able to for a week or so (June 21).

Adult-ridden (and conservatively even for an adult).

If a trade happens thru this site, I will absolutely donate. Thanks for looking!

Bump... I took a long ride this past weekend on the SV650S and am even more convinced that a V-Strom 650 is a better fit for me than my sportbike.

No disrespect, but I think you'll find it very hard for someone to trade a Strom for an SV.
Folks who trade Stroms either want more power or more comfort, and could be both depending on who you talk to. The SV gives none of that and the Strom does everything the SV does with more comfort and about equal power..

It is a nice bike though and good luck with the sale.

No disrespect, but I think that's way off the mark. Anyone who wants a sportbike instead of a tourer/dual sport/standard would prefer an SV. Tires, transmission, tuning, fairing, looks -- all are totally different between the SV an the Weestrom. And i doubt the Wee is a very popular track bike. I'm looking for someone who, like me, is looking to trade *types* of bikes.
