I have a pair of Vendramini Marathon boots, they are very good looking boots, a lot of protection, very very comfortable boots out of the box, no break in needed, good adjustability. Great boots but they are almost waterproof, they had very minor leakeage, i talked to the distributor and he talked to the manufactures in Italy, they sent me a new pair that had some improvements over the old pair but sadly it had the same problem, it was not bad but my feet were wet after 30 minutes in the rain, i solved that problem sprayin the boot with scotchguard every 2 months or so. here is the distributor's website

Now I'm wearing Oxtar Infinity boots, a little more protection, not as comfortable and we'll see what happens when we get the tipical torrencial rains here in Florida.

Well 10,000 on the now 2nd set of Aqua Pro Vents. First pair leaked at 5,000, and Cycle Gear traded 'em for some new ones. They leaked after 2,000 miles.
Tried the NikWax clean and Aqueous Wax. No deal . Still had wet feet. About 1,000 ago I SnowSeal'd 'em. Sweet :D . Now warm and dry. I figured most any boot (in this $99.00 price range) was gonna leak and was hesitant to spend $200-$300 on another experiment. The Aqua Pros are real comfortable to walk around in. I expect them to last for about a year or year and a half of 350 days a year wear, maybe more.

I've been wearing the Alpinestars Ridge waterproofs for a couple of years and I'm very happy with them (and they're short enough that my fat calves aren't a factor).

I picked up a pair of Ducati boots...with my big flippers, it was tough to find something that would let me get my foot under the shifter.

I just picked up some Alpinestars Roam boots. Very lightweight and supposed to be waterproof. Have worn them a few times, but not in any rain yet.
They are quite comfy, and dont seem to really require any major break-in period.
