Need help installing Barkbusters

I have Pro Taper ATV Hi bars. I bought a set of Barkbuster hand guards. I am having trouble installing the throttle side guard. The problem is the brake line hose from the brake fluid reservoir is in the way of attaching the clamp to the aluminum support bar. No matter how I try to manipulate the hose or reservoir it is in the way. I have a temporary fix but the hand guard is too low to do its job effectively.

Has anyone else had this issue and how did you solve the problem?

I have ProTaper ATV High with Acerbis Enduro's. Mine didn't fit either, I just kept trying and I found a setting that works.

Thanks TooTall -- do you have any pictures of the throttle side?

I don't, I'll try and remember to take some tomorrow. In the last pic you can kinda make out, I had to turn the whole assembly towards me. You can tell by the way the mirror stem is bent.

Not yet. I jerry rigged it yesterday morning so I could ride to work but probably won't get another chance to really solve the problem until the weekend.
