I have searched and searched and I'm so damn confused, and mixed up.
I have a JCW top box, It's a good box just a tad small it will not fit my 2 HJC helmets.
I want a box that will hold an XL and a L HJC helmet.
I'm looking at 3: GIVI E45, GIVI E52, and Coocase s48.
The Givi E45 seems to be big enough????
What I can't figure is why the E52 is over $100 more than the E45????
and does the base plate come with them, or need to spend and extra $100.
Or should I ditch all that and just get a coocase.????
Someone give me your recommendation.

I can put two HJC full face helmets in an E45, one L and one XL. It and the E52 require the same type of monokey mounting plate. The E528 plate is what Givi specifies. See http://www.twistedthrottle.com/article/articleview/85/1/20/ but, if I had it to do again, I'd get the much less expensive E200, http://www.twistedthrottle.com/imagecatalogue/imageview/7180/?RefererURL=/trade/productview/797/228/ , drill the OEM luggage rack to match, and just have the simple single piece.

Because I all ready have the JCWi large box with mount, I should be able to use that base with a real GIVI monokey box? ie E45.
I would not do it permanently, but would be ok until more funds came in????
Thanks again Greywolf.

I'm not so sure about the JCW mount. It is a little different but I forget if the JCW box to Givi mount can be made to work, if it's the other way around or both ways possible. It isn't a direct fit IIRC but I remember people saying a little work is required.

Greywolf have you seen the E200 installed or do do you think it might fit?
I don't mind saving $40 bucks but I don't want to go reinventing the wheel.
Thanks
oh and I did order the E45

I just noticed the same thread had the JCW box to Givi mount mod I couldn't quite remember. That was sheer luck.

The advantage of the E200 is....you can mount/locate it where you want to....ie....further back. No regrets with my E200 install.
