I need some sort of cover for my bike when camping that will be nonreflective. It also needs to take up as little room as possible.there are to many reflective things on my bike to try and cover them.

Why, are the raccoons carrying flashlights now?

search the web for "camo netting" and see if you like that idea

I'm curious, too. Why do you want to stealthify your bike while camping?

Oh, so as to at least appear helpful, I'll offer a suggestion. There are all kinds of camo ATV covers available. Although, I'm not sure if they would offer enough coverage for what you have in mind.

I did find this on Amazon: Linky (http://www.amazon.com/Factory-Direct-Camouflage-Motorcycle-Cover/dp/B0010EF0I2)

That way it will match his outfit.......... Then, of course, is the problem that his bike is blue.

Either that or his significant other is getting upset since he keeps parking in front of the local strip clubs. "Camping" is code for loitering at the stage with the brass pole.

Well, at a guess, reading the info he supplied and the title of the post, this is what I come up with.

He wants to go camping, but he does not want to be seen either by the land owners or by anyone passing by, maybe paranoid?

Just my guess.

We have a winner!
I thought it was obvious that i wanted to camp in places that might be tecnically off limits. The same reflectors that offer us some measure of safety can be seem from an incredible distance when luminated by headlights ect.

Stealth camping is pretty cool. I probably should put my stock exhaust back on to "stealth camp" effectively, though. I haven't "stealth camped" for way too long. Years ago it involved friends, whiskey, and a logical desire to be left alone while hanging out. There are some "stealth campers" within a few miles from me. Just bums that cover their store bought tents with leafy debris. I guess they didn't do a good enough stealth job if I know they are there.

I know that "Urban Camping" is rapidly gaining in popularity.

Cops look for a heat signature at night with their FLIR so If your trying to hide from the law don't do it at night near your stash.

To avoid eyes from above in the day time try to park under a tree or in a bush.

Camo is good from a distance but up close anything is visible.

Movement is what attracts the eye.

I use a large army surplus 20X20 gilli net to cover my 16ft boat which is also green,
once it is pulled in under the overhanging Cedar branches at the side of the lake it is nearly invisible.
