Do any of you know if a local Suzuki dealer would have to pay to have a bike shipped here from another dealer in another state ? I want to know in case my local shop wants to add on a freight charge onto the price he sell it to me for. I live in Seattle, Washington and was talking to a saleman about having a bike shipped from California. If this dealer would incur a cost, what do you think would be a reasonable addition to the sales price? I've read people having bikes shipped from out of state for $500, but that's not from a dealer to a dealer, but rather from a dealer to their home. Thanks for you input.

yes they would have to pay the trucking company ,they call it a dealer transfer.like if one shop is only getting blue bikes and they cant sell blue this season the shops will sometimes work together . hope you were able to get your bike with out spending a bounch of extra cash. i was told that the shop usually eats it .
