In a bit of a bind here since my Wee is my only form of transportation & I have temporarily disabled her  Anyway, I wasn't sure how the 2 connectors came apart, applied pressure the wrong way, & ended up pulling the harness plug off its wires! Now there are 2 wires (black & green) dangling under the fairing. I need to put those wires back into the connector.

Do the wires simply match up colour-wise (i.e., black wire from one connector meets up with black wire in turn signal connector)?

Like colors is indeed how they work. Black/white is ground and blue is hot for the left side turn signals. That little plastic arm needs to be lifted for the connectors to separate.

Thanks Greywolf! I was doing the opposite, pushing down on the back of the arm thinking it would move the front of the arm upwards so the other connector could move out. Ah well, lets chalk it up to learning by experience

My Buell turn signals are here & I'll be attempting to install those over the next couple days or so.
