Folks .. I've got a Widder vest and arm chaps but I want to keep my legs warm also (no off -colour remarks required here )
So far I've got three choices but am opting for #1 unless someone can steer me otherwise.
1 - Gerbing Union Ridge Heated Pants are made to be worn over your riding pants. They are Cordura exterior, for some abrasion resistance, and heating pads inside for warmth
2 - Widder Lectric LegChaps - These are small and lightweight which means they could be with stored somewhere on the bike and forgotten about until you need them. However, I can't see stopping somewhere, getting my pants off and fastening seven velcro tabs to fit these chaps on, putting my pants back on and then riding into the sunset.
3 - Gerbing Pant Liners - worn underneath your riding pants .. I've read mcrides review in the forum and they sound great but again unless you wear them right from the beginning you would be in the pants off, liner on, pants on scenario again.
