Saw this on the DL650 list and just ordered one. Today only, ending at 5 pm Pacific time, you pay for the Basic service, $99.99 per year, and the Tracking service, $49.99, and they will give you the SPOT unit free. I looked at other offers including eBay and West Marine, and this offer is about $50 cheaper. It is NOT eligible for their current rebate offer.
