I've had great results using this stuff over the years in my cars and bikes. After having the Main seal start leaking on our old Lincoln a few years ago I dumped some in and in a few days the leak had stopped. Also worked great on a VW Dasher that had shrunken injector seals that had been leaking, being to cheap to replace them I smeared some stop leak on them and shoved them back in. After a couple days I tugged on the injectors to see if the stop leak had worked, to my surprise they were no longer loose. It appeared that the stop leak had puffed up the o rings and they were now tight.

In our two newer vehicles I add a little just as a precaution to help prevent the seals from shrinking. I also add about a 1/2 oz. to my strom when I change oil.
I've used all the major brands Bars,Eagle etc and they seem to perform equally well.

I wonder how your clutch will feel about this?

Good luck,

Matt.

Matt, it's safe. The same formula is used in the transmission stop leak that's out there. It does no harm to the clutch bands which basically use the same material that bikes use on their wet sump clutch plates.
