What is supposed to be a 15 minute job has taken me over an hour already! I can't for the life of me find the plug to plug my Beaver Heated Grip adaptor into!!!! I tried searching but in my current frustrated state, I found nothing helpful just a guy trying to sell crap.
Pleas, help, and remember, at the IQ spectrum where I operate, a picture is worth MORE than a thousand words!!!

I had to remove the bolts holding the radiator in place so that it could be moved forward enough to get to the wiring harness that has the plug.

I'm afraid I can't provide pictures, but I think I can explain it clearly enough. Presuming you have all the plastic off of the front of the bike, get yourself down level with the rad and just behind it on the right side of the bike. There is a heat sink right in front of you, about four inches square. Behind and below that is the main wiring harness coming forward, then splitting off in different directions up over a plastic guard just behind the rad.
Some have said they can get their hands in there and find the grip hookup. I couldn't. Remove the three or four bolts (I'm in my office, and my bike's in my garage...) that hold the rad in place and tip the rad forward a few inches. There is enough give in the hoses to allow for the movement.
On that main wiring harness, there is a white connector with a black cap taped onto it. That is not the grip heater connector, but it is a switched and fused power connector. On my bike the brip heater connector was a black connector coming off of the main wiring harness, and sitting a little more to the centre, rear, top of the rad.
There are quite a few wires running in that area, but the black connector stood out. I understand the Easter Beaver connector is the corresponding type, so the connector on the bike should be the only one that looks like and connects with the Eastern Beaver connector.
I hope this helps
When you get that far, you'll be routing the wires up and over the front of the plastic cover on the rad, to go up to the steering head.

I guess I got lucky, I didnt have to remove anything at all. I was able to get my mitts on the plug by going in from the left side of the bike and with a razor blade in hand, cut the tape.

The connector has been seen in black, white and brown as well as to the left or right of center. It is usually taped to the main harness and may just look like a lump. The only sure thing besides being behind the radiator is it always is attached to a pair of wires, one black with a white stripe and the other orange with a green stripe.

I got to mine without removing anything. I laid on the floor on the left side of bike looking up towards the front of the tank. The plug was just hanging there and I could reach in and touch it.
Good luck

Thanks one and all! I had to take all the plastic off the bike but when I did, I saw it sitting there plain as day. It was hard to get to. I guess I don't have the dexterity of some of you folks! After that: plug and play. Thanks again for all the help. Four and a half hours to do a 15 minute job: my mechanic skilz are getting phatter!
