Nobody is posting in this section because, with the high at 82 degrees and sunny, everyone is out riding!

I am sure that there folks in other parts of the world that do not want to hear this... :P

WOW...Fantastic weather...up to 83 here in Uvalde today!

Only had enough time for a thirty minute spin, but it was nice!

regards to all

I hope it holds. I'm headed that way in couple of weeks. It's not bad here though, low 40s to high 50s today I didn't even turn on the heated grips for my commute.

You betcha:
Down here in Albuquerque, it's been much warmer than I can remember. I got a pair of Hippo Hands today; ordered 'em from the guy who makes 'em in Canada. Didn't make much sense to go for a test ride this afternoon, but tomorrow morning will be plenty cold and I'll let you guys know the results.

Dear Guest:
Hippo Hands are covers that mount over the hand controls on various motorcycles. They're made of heavy Cordura and when in operation keep the wind, rain and snow off of your hands. They look like bags, but your hands and lower forearms are inside them; warm and dry.

The guy who makes them is in Canada. He also sells vintage motorcycles and honest to gosh Bomber Jackets -among other things.

Sorry I failed to come back with a report of their performance as promised. I went for a ride the next morning -extra early. Three + hours later, I returned from a trip to Santa Fe and back using HWY 14 which runs through the Sandia Mountains (much colder up there than down here in the city). I've got no complaints. In fact, I'm absolutely certain I would have turned around and gone home at the first hint of burning cold fingertips.
