Let's see what you have?
If you are unsure how to post, read this FAQ: Can I post Images?
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).
If your photo is already on the web, such as in the Stromtrooper.com gallery, you simply click on the IMG button above, paste the address for your photo, then click on the *IMG buton.
Like this http://www.purplepug.com/ppuggallery/351.gif
Which should appear like this shot:

Any how heres my Strom on the Seward Highway a couple of days ago. Im in a pullout along Turnagain Arm.
Roads are clear at this point but as you can see the pullout was nasty. This is the spot that I picked up the bike after dumping it pulling in. Only damage was to my pride as there was a carload of tourist right in frount of me. Lesson learned, be sure to pick it up on the kickstand side  . Fortunatly one of the folks that wittnessed it happen was on there way over and lended a bit of assistance. Nice. What brand of saddlebags? I have Coretechs and they seem to work pretty well. I'm installing a set of Staintune cans this weekend. Being worried about heat, I got some SW-Motech quick lock side racks to keep the bags off the new cans. Didn't have to worry about that with the stockers. Have you noticed any heat issues with your non-stock cans?

Greg knew this road from a previous trip, but I was kind of wary about continuing on it because it was gated of halfway through, and to get past the gate we had to go over a pile of rocks. He could make it over but hit his skid plate, which I don't have. I usually don't go past gates anyway, because I figure they are there for a reason.

I think that Godfathers was started in my hometown of Terre Haute, IN by some former ISU students. We don't have one anymore, I miss that place. Last one I knew of was in Bloomington, IN. Don't mean to hijack the thread, just thought it was interesting.

I don't get it. How does one post pics on this site? My understanding from this string and the faq is that one has to post to a site outside of this one and provide the address so stromers can view them by clicking on the remote site. How am I doing so far?
So how do posters get their pics directly in their postings to the forums?
Yeah, I got a digital, but film is my primary choice. Never should have dumped my Mac for this PC. Very frustrating for a geezer that has done a few British frame up restorations.

Mike, it took me a while to get the hang of it. I put the pic I want to show here in http://s45.photobucket.com
To transfer a pic to Stromtrooper, go to the bottom of the photobucket page & click on "bike pics for posting" album
The pics appear & each has an URL, tag or IMG address.
Click on IMG to highlite it then right click to copy.
Go into Stromtrooper, go into a post or start a new one & click in the writing space to activate it. Click in the Img at the top of the space than right click & paste the Img address.
Click "preview" & your pic should be there.
Hope it works for you.

Already posted a pic when I got the bike a month ago but I thought I'd toss in a few updates since then. Leo Vince Slip-on's, PCIII, Stealth backrest, Tour master tank bag, universal helmet bag, Alaska Leather sheepskins. Next on the list is to find a second stock seat so I can de-skin it and start carving. My wife loves the back half but the front side is not working for me at all. The sheepskins help but it's still pretty uncomfortable for me. I can take about 150 miles before I start cursing it.
You may ask, why are all the ugly stickers still on the bike? Well, I think they should stay and they certainly serve a very valuable purpose. After all, they were placed there for a reason. They help to keep us all safe and informed.
Just kidding LOL. They are the next to go if I can get them off without screwing up the finish. Last time I took one off a bike I scratched the tank and it put me into a depression for three weeks. Got it fixed and I'll be a lot more careful this time around. Just need to figure out an effective method for a clean removal.

Hello~ 8)
It's REVOLUTION, made by LAZER. There's a moveable dark brown eye shield and also an aside breathe-hose-type hood with paper filter inside the facepiece, just like a jet fighter's pilot helmet~
But usually I don't put that hood on... you know, it's "a little" cool so that every time meet a stopsign, scooter bikers around me always stare at me once pull that facepiece up... make me feel like a jerk
This's me rode on my previous bike '99 CB1300 SF few years ago.
You can see this helmet clearer^^

No Strom in this photo, but I just liked the way it looked. I could just see soldiers servicing that 6" rifled gun as they saw Union ironclads come around the bend in February, 1862. There are also two 33 pound "Cannonades" , one on each side of the 6" rifled gun. For their day and time that was a pretty fearsome arsenal and they made a mess out of Andrew H. Foote's Union gunboat fleet.
http://www.craigcentral.com/bikes/images/fd34.jpg
One of a pair of juvenile Bald Eagles. The second showed up right after I took this photo but this one turned out better. They were perched on the railing of a platform on the bluff overlook and were pretty unconcerned with the dozen or so people snapping pictures of them.

A day at the beach near home. 3995 Km on the odometer. The hand made logos on the trunk are cut from reflective tape sold for use on truck bumpers. The trunk is a surplus equipment case we had at work. I have two more I would like to use as side cases. They are tough and can be locked.

For me who doesn't come from the "dirt bike world" it's OK if a bike is clean. I wish mine was so.
Why did you leave the "DL650" sticker when you removed the rest?
What screen is that?
Is that installed on a MadStat bracket?
Do you still have the original muffler?

I've been able to get out here and there with the rain and spotty snow. So here are a couple from the last two best rides that I've had.
October 26th (this one is kind of big)

Very nice looking bike. The lowers add a completed appearance to it. By the way, what kind of mirror extensions do you have ??

When you post a reply in a thread look for the little yellow box with the mountains in it. Click that and it will let you link to a picture that is on the web, i.e. your smugmug page.
