Just a quick note out there:
The beadrider works well on the stock DL650 seat, as it is narrow and low in the front, and the beadrider helps provide some airflow and distributes your weight nicely.
The Suzuki gel seat works great (a little too much of a bulge by your thigh IMO), but it does not work well with the beadrider. Its flatter and taller on the front, and the beads are slippery, which will result in a constant feeling that you are sliding back on acceleration. :)
The gel seat, I'm guessing because of the gel itself, also gets VERY warm if left in the sun. The beads that work on the DL650 are wood, and they always stay cool, and even dry if you leave your bike out at night and dew forms on most of the bike except for that (keeping your butt dry). So I'm thinking the Alaska Leather buttpad would be a better fit for added comfort and keeping the seat cool.
So good things to say about the gel-seat overall and I liked the beadrider, but the combo is totally unusable if you ride at a spirited pace as you will slide. For riders that are under 6 foot, a minor issue is that the gel seat is taller, and the beads also add some height. I noticed it right away that my head was suddenly no longer in my windshield's airpocket, heh!
