Had em' on my Beemer. Excellent working product! Customer service, from my personal experience, is mediocre at best! :sad1: Almost never answer the phone. Took a month and 3 attempts to get me the right caliper mounting bolts. Very expensive too.

At 55 watts per bulb, may be too much electrical draw for the Stroms though.

I've had a set of chrome Motolight's on my bike for a while, and just replaced them with their new black chrome lights....very hot! (http://www.motolight.com). I don't think they have 55 watt bulbs. The new lights came with a 35 watt, and I could have upgraded to 50 or switched to amber, but didn't. I had no problems at all getting through, and I called them a few times before I ordered. I love these...they seem to be very well made, and they'll also replace any burned out bulbs for life!

Their product is great. I just had an unfavorable experience with their customer service dept. The owner did finally straighten things out, but like I said, it took a while...Would I get them again, yes, if I could find a set used at substantial savings.

55/50/35 watt? I did not remember for sure...you are correct. :-D

They're great lights but way too pricey for what they are. You can put 35 watt bulbs in them for Vstrom use. I have a set on the K75 with yellow bulbs in them for daytime visibility since the K75 headlight sucks so bad.

Of course, the K75 is a spare bike and I don't ride it much...

I have a set of these: http://www.rallylights.net/Optilux/optilux_1500.asp
mounted to my front fender bolts. I use 35W bulbs and the included relay.
THEY COST $19 !!!!!! AND LOOK AND WORK GREAT!!!!!

Same here. I'm using those Optilux lamps with 35W bulbs mounted on the amotostuff rail (http://www.amotostuff.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=AMS_Vstrom_lbrkt&Category_Code=dl1000_electrical). Works great!
