ok. finally had a not so crazy saturday and installed my hiway pegs by dan vesel. prolly had them for the last month just have not had time to get them on. went on super easy, VERY COMFY!!! dan also put on an oil cooler guard plate that attaches to the hiway pegs cross brace. all very neat and cool lookin.
took it for a ride after install. 0 vibration up to 65 mph (72 mph indicated) got on semi twisty country road in 5th gear runnin 35-55 mph. no real tite corners. put my feet on the pegs and had this HUGE grin on my face. very nice. easy to transition from back to forward and vice versa.
dan bats a 1000 on these.
2 side notes. if u use dans hiway pegs u'll have to use sliders for fall protection, as i understand the other popular crash bars use the same mounting holes.
also...riding with your feet on dans hiway pegs encourages you to keep your legs tite to the tank (at least for me it does) U WONT BELIEVE HOW MUCH WIND THIS CUTS OUT!!
