I purchased a black '05 DL1000 from Commonwealth in March of this year. I have to say that they treated me fairly, gave me a good price, and have kept me happy since the sale. I have done most of the bike maintenance myself, but have had no complaints the couple of times I have had it in for service (remap & tire change).

These guys are a bunch of motorcycle enthusiasts. They really want the customer to be happy. Ed has even talked me out of purchasing a couple of items that he thought were unneccessary.

I am very pleased with Commonwealth, and will continue to do business with them on anything that they sell. I highly recommend them if you are in the Louisville area.

Thanks for the great feedback. You know any shops in western KY?

For those in the Louisville, KY area who haven't been to the new store, I thought I would mention that Commonwealth has a new shop and it is quite impressive (I am not affiliated with them).

In addition to the Suzuki & Ducati lines they have had for a long time, they now have KTM, Triumph, and a scooter line. The new store has two floors, lots of space, and it is already *jammed* full of new bikes and riding gear!!! I continue to have positive experiences with them, and recommend them highly. Worth stopping in just to gawk if you are in the area. :-P

i was in there last weekend drooling over the new bikes and picking up some chain lube. the new store is quite impressive, but i always thought it was amazing how many bikes they could cram in the old little store.

i tried to by my bike from them, but the never had anything used in my price range that i was interested in . i end up buying a bike from S&S clarksville. because of an affilitation with a local motocycle website, i get a pretty steep discount at S&S louisville and do most of my shopping there :) .
