Hey Yall, I just bought a new 06 DL 1000. I have not even taken delivery on it yet. I've been reading articles on breaking it in. Do yall have any suggestions or do you follow Suzuki's recommended breakin procedures?

I followed Suzuki's recommendation, not quite to the letter (exceeded the RPMs several times), but as close as possible.

You 2 fellas need to edit your profiles with your locations so we will know where you are - Texas ain't Rhode Island, ya know! :D

I am a believer in the hard break in method. Check out webbikeworld.com and go to break in...there is a great article including pictures from a racing bike mechanic. All bike makers will NOT tell you to drive your bike fast due to the lawyers (this is the same reason why all speedometers read fast).
