Cabin fever ride

I can't stand it anymore! I am going to truck the bike down to warmer climes and ride for a week.

Leaving for Borrego Springs, CA first week of Feb.

A week well spent. I put on about 1200 miles. Temps were fair, 60-70 with a little wind on a couple of days.

We rode mostly in an east/west band between Oceanside, CA and Yuma, AZ. Rode in circles mostly, with base camp in Borrego Springs, CA.

High points: Apple pie in Julian, CA and lunch on the pier in Oceanside.
(my rides seem to center around food these days)

Low point: Dropping the Strom in the sand 20 yards from base camp. Just minor scratches on the left fairing panel and a giant bruise to my ego.
