Removed my SW Moto center stand and found that the rear bottom bolt hole on the clutch side was cracked off right through the middle of the bolt hole.

Is there any type of aluminum epoxy putty that I could form and re-tap the bolt hole (I personally don't feel it will hold under the pressure of using the center stand) or can a new piece be welded and then re-tapped?

Welding would be the only way to go on this repair. Ensure you disconnect your battery to protect the electrics. Find a very competent welder.

Cheers!

unless you have a competent person work on your frame , i would skip the process and live with out the centerstand

Agree with Chris. You don't want to half-ass a repair like this. either find a CERTIFIED welder in your town or ride without it. Expect to pay about $150 for this repair.
