There's a great German Restaurant in Balltown Iowa. It's called Brieghtbecks or something like that. Homemade everything!!! Nice people !!! They get around 3-400 bikes a week stopping in for dinner.
Best Pies anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!! Highly Receommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of great riding roads all over the area there.

Went through there once this summer then returned later and there was a lot of construction, but found some nice new roads. Great views. I'll keep an eye out for it next time I ride through there.

Got back out to brieghtbachs again this spring. The food is still awesome. Be sure to eat at the bar and tell Mike a fellow biker from Michigan told you about his place. If a free piece of home made pie doesn't fly your way I'd be really suprised. Brieghtbachs is just north of Dubuque Iowa in the town of Balltown Iowa right along the missisippi river.
