Just installed some Renthal bars, Acerbis guards and some Death grips.

Holy crap I had some serious modifications to shyt to make it all work. I had to heat up and bend my derned levers (both), do some snipping and grinding on them, moved crap all around on the bars, and redesign the bends on the guards to get everything to fit even remotely close to "right." I will say that the bars ROCK. These bars in conjunction with the new Battlewing tires, fork brace, and springs have now made the Vee roll like it was on rails. Incredible and my wrists are no longer hurting from the weird arse angle that the stock bars make you ride at.

I looked at the stocker bars and was surprised that I could easily flex them with my bare hands. Visibly flex them, I should add.... Scarily, visibly flex them....

At any rate, this was a good modification and highly recommend it to anything thinking about it. I am glad that I did the springs, then brace, then tires, then bars for I got to see the improvement after each upgrade.

I got pix if anyone cares to see, but I am not done yet. I have take some stock steel and am building a light bar to mount under my fairing for lights and have dug out some old Harley parts for I swear I saw some highway bars in there at one point. As it is rolling thus far, it is about 1/2 way to Beserker's and Sharkley's level of farkleness..... Just a little ways to go and I can flat compete....

I have thought about new bars, are they wider than stock? After coming off a CBR the stock bars already seem ridiculously wide!
