How mant bits does ECU have. Is it 16 or 32.

Actually it's the CPU Central Processing Unit I'am wondering about. I don't think the VS has a ECU .

No it's the ECM which has 16 Bits not like the more powerful Gixxer computers which are 32 Bit. ECM probably stands for Engine Control Management. Unit monitors engine rpm, throttle position, crankshaft position,coolant temp.,gear position, and intake pressure. Its digital and is designed to improve throttle response, combustion effeiciency and fuel economy. The Dual Throttle Bodies are a large part of the system.

You are incorrect, starting in 2003 the ecu has a 32bit processor, which alows for SDS or Suzuki Data System. it also has greater processing speed.
