The Gen Mar handlebar risers are machined from billet aluminum and finished in either brushed aluminum or the black anodized finish.

Shaped like the base of your handlebar mount, they will raise the handlebars upward and back (due to the fork angle), still leaving the motorcycle with a very stock look.

Most riders will have to sit on the bike to notice there is something different. It's more comfortable. Raising the bars up even a mere 3/4" (19mm) makes a real difference in the weight on your hands.

When raising your bars with a spacer design, like our handlebar riser, you raise the bars but still retain the stock angle. This is very important to maintaining even weight distribution across your hands during braking and turning.

The Gen Mar Handlebar Riser is designed to raise your handlebars the maximum your motorcycle will allow. The handlebars will not hit the fairing or the tank when turned full-left or full-right.

There is no need to remove or change any of the controls on the handlebars.

Most installations can be completed in as little as 10
minutes.

The Gen Mar Handle Bar risers are widely recognized by SV Racing Parts, and the overall motorcycle Community, as a terrific system and they do not require re-routing of your cables.

They are made in the USA.

Blair - Do you happen to know if the 1" Gen Mar Riser on an 07 without ABS but with ProTaper Raptor bars will require a longer brake line or control wiring? I am wanting to raise the bars an inch, but don't want to have to re-do all the brake lines and electrical stuff.

Thanks

I believe you are good to go without extended lines on the non-abs models with the the one inch riser,

There is no modification of lines or cables, on the up and back risers on these models,

I have one each of the GenMar one inch risers in Silver and Black in Stock here right now,

If you would like one, email me at b.layton@svracingparts.com

Include your contact phone in the email and I will call you right away to discuss it with you,

All the great things you read about Blair and SV Racing Parts are true. Blair called me personally and helped me choose the right Gen Mar risers. For me he recommended 1up+1back. They arrived quickly and were easy to install.

I've only ridden about 100 miles with them, but so far I'm very happy with the more upright riding position. I think this will remove the icepick between my shoulder blades.

Great job Blair! Pleasure doing business with you.

I was very pleased with the service getting these risers but I have to say that the claim of no cable, hose and wire routing mods need done are not the case. I have an 08 1000 and once the up and back risers where on ALL but the wiring bundle that goes to the right grip and the throttle cables had to be
modified.

1. The brake hose bracket at the base of the steering stem needed removed.
2. The wiring bundle that goes to the left grip needed removed from the
metal loop near the top of the steering stem and the bracket under the
steering stem (the throttle cables share this bracket and remained)
3. The clutch hose was rerouted to the back side of the triple tree and the
metal loop at the steering stem removed.
4 To get all the play I could on the throttle cables I rotated the grip towards
the front, it is still marginal when turned hard right.

Without doing all this I was streching everything pretty bad when I turned the bars stop to stop. Maybe if I had pulled the tank I could have found some slack to use but I had it off a week ago to check the air cleaner and I noticed then that EVERY thing was tighter than a ......

If any body can set me striaght I would appreciate it because the last thing I wanted to do was be taking off factory routing assemblies and replaceing them with zip ties. Sitting on the bike the bars feel a lot better in my hands, I wont be able to ride it for a while, this global warming has me all snowed in way up here in the Great White North of southeast PA.
