This is a wonderful site, I'm joining from Allen Tx. Got the 650 in blue last week from Sherman Power Sports. Tried my first adventure ride yesterday and it was a hoot, went to Muenster with some buddies, the bike handled great in the twisties and had no issues on the "easy" trails. Took it out on some real twisties this morning and was impressed by it's capability right outa the box. Increased rear preload + rebound and went softer on the front preload, the bike just settled in like a champion. Running stock tire pressure. Any other troopers in the N Dallas area?

TWT has a Thursday night "meet and greet" in Plano and I have seen at least 2 other 650s there at different times. There are several in the DFW area and quite a few statewide.

Just had a "west side" meet in Arlington tonight with 18 folks - three 'Stroms - 2 1000s and my 650. We are around!

The pie runs are different each month - the next one is this Saturday to Huntsville. September is Edom and October is back to Hico.

Hi Strom Riders,

I ran across this site while searching for information on the V-Strom.

I plan on buying a V-Strom in the next few months. I live in Temple and currently ride a DR650 and DR350.

I noticed Bill lives in Belton about 10 miles away. I look forward to meeting some of you guys.

Welcome, Goat, rode through Temple on the way to Georgetown a couple of weeks ago - that place has grown!

We will try to keep this section updated on Texas activities. Just had a ride to Hico last Saturday - just 2 'Stroms there tho this time... :(
