Remapping.

My local dealer gave me a big line about remapping and pushes for the power comander. I'm down in Mobile, Alabama, anyone close that know's of a good dealer who can do the low end remap properly? Who knows, I was used to a Beemer with a lightened flywheel, 4 spark plugs and a competion clutch. Its been a long time since I've ridden. Definately gonna check into the safety courses just for refresher and possibly for advanced. Only a week or two now! What do you think of the price of a DL 1000 V Strom out the door with center stand & 3 yr extended warranty for $9600.00

Interested in what his "big line was?" Remapping can be done as many times on your bike that you want. If you want to go back to the stock factory settings... no problem!!! As far as the $9600 out the door, I paid $8700 out the door for my bike. Center stand is $180, I don't know what the extended warranty is worth.... but I bet you could get them down a little more if you tried! :) The bike is $9000 new before tax, title and prep.
