I know I'm not supposed to be in here posting but you guys are the experts here on this matter.
My wife is wanting to ride more with me and needs to get more gear I have her a KJ3 but the pants are a more intimate issue. I know what works for me but that clearly won't do for everyone.
She is 5' 4" and will kill me but 120ish. Hot flashes are a real issue as well.
What brand, style is most user friendly during off-time and doesn't create special issues .
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
I think it is really sweet that you are helping your lady out. I also have an issue with being too warm all the darn time. I have found that ripping out the stupid plastic liner that is between the "satin" type material and the outer pants helps tremendously. It is summer time, why do I need to have "rain" protection in summer.
Also look for leathers that have vents built into them. Pants with adjustable straps, or elastic in the back help too.
Good luck. Oh and get her off the back of your bike and on to her own. Biker chicks rock! :devil_16:

I have a pair of mens tourmaster flex pants. They are part mesh with zip off panels to let air through. They also have a rain liner and a quilted liner. They came in S-XL rather than waist sizes. I got them in May of this year and so far think they are great.

I have draggin' jeans which I find a lot cooler than my leather overpants although they aren't mesh and have chunks of kevlar lining. If you use the hip protectors they do the hip silhouette no good at all, though! Nice to have a normal jeans look off the bike and if it's super hot I put thin shorts under them and peel them off!
