No kidding, eh? Maybe sell the bike with the cool looking stock windshield if need be but offer a genuine Suzuki windsheild upgrade for those that do more highway driving/higher speeds than others. That is the only real issue most people have with this bike for highway speeds. If I worked for Suzuki I would really try to have an alternate wind tunnel / road tested alternative so my product would be even more versatile. Who wants to hear "ya the 650 is great but the windsheild sucks for most people driving highway speeds." When it comes to making cash for this "highway" windsheild Suzuki is missing the boat big time.

Ya, Being tall makes it easier/possible to ride this bike, but tall people get the crap knocked out them by the buffeting.

In addition to the wind tunnel, a 6 foot plus test rider would be usefull as well. Hell, I volunteer for the job (for the betterment of mankind).

I'm not sure that the “clean” air from a wind tunnel would duplicate the problem. With the stock windshield the performance in the high position is not too bad on a calm day, but on a windy day where the wind hits the windshield at an angle, the turbulence causes my helmet to be pushed side to side at a high frequency which is horrible.

With the US Suzuki high windshield in the high position my helmet vibrates in time with the top of the flexible windshield. If I steady the top of the windscreen with my hand the buffeting goes away.

Also on the windscreen topic, I would like to see adjustably of height and rake of the windshield from the saddle without the use of tools. Perhaps by use of knurled knobs on the “dash”. This would allow for adjustment to the optimum position for different riding conditions.
