Me and the wife left the house at 10.45 Sunday morning!
North to Llangurig, through Llanidloes, and over the Mountains. Quite windy up there this morning as well.
We parked up near the top to check out the views...

And then it was across the top and down into Machynlleth for a quick coffee.
After a short break it was another 20 miles on the coast road to get to Tonfanau.
We got to the track which was overlooking the coast...not many people there though.

Took a stroll around and came across this....a mint 79 CBX!

Which was part of the stuff on display at David Jones section, who provided free tickets and free food to all their customers today at this event.

We went for a stroll around and got a few shots of the action...which included some Classic events with bikes such as a 1963 Ducati 250 single, 1972 Honda 125, 1972 BSA 500, 1968 JBS Honda 350, 1972 Asher Honda 350, 1970 Seeley 500, 1958 Royal Enfield 833, 1970 Triumph Dresda 750, 1969 SRM BSA 750, and 1972 Rickman Commando 750

After an hour or two of looking around and eating as much free food as possible.....it was time to go.
So back across to Machynlleth...where you get the best coffee in Wales.
And you can park your bike right by your table....well I do anyway!

Then back on the Strom and home via the A470 and Newtown.
Total of 150 miles...free race tickets, free food, not a drop of Welsh rain, and some great rural riding on the Strom. What more can you ask for?
