Ordered something today...

K&N, Akro's & a PCIII Race.

I can't wait. This is going to be fun!

Installed last night and did a quick ride around the neighborhood this morning. Might be too early to tell but I think whatever "stumble" she still had under 4k is GONE! Of course, with almost 14k on the odo, any stumble she had left in her was almost gone.

Sounds and looks amazing. Everything dropped right in and Fuel Moto's map seems to be spot on.

I'll have a pic or two when I get them off my camera.

You got that right, but it feels sooo good! And so right, somehow.

Put about 40 miles on today, all I can say is WOW!!!

So have you installed the 16 tooth countershaft sprocket yet? It will give a seat of the pants feel of about 20% more power and makes 6th gear way more useable.

I've considered it. Increased the rear by one tooth at last replacement but that didn't really do anything that I've noticed.

Oh yes they are! Sound oh so nice too.

I have a question for you, since you have a similar setup. Have you had issues with the baffle screws? I stripped the head out of one trying to get it out (oops) so I'm stuck with both baffles in until I can get some spares.

I may have been a little over exuberant with the removal operation. :rolleyes:

Get the screws out and replace them with better ones...that's what I did.
Also, you'll notice, the screws have a little "tac weld" on them to hold them on.
A dremel tool is your friend;)

One hint, if you want a little more sound than you have with the baffles in...but baffles out is too loud, trim the baffles one inch and put them back in.

It was that second tac weld that did me in, the first one wasn't bad.

Thanks for the tip on the baffles. I might just try that. :D
