Just discovered a new use for my pvc storage tube. At wally-world they are now selling both white gas and kerosene in small bottles in the camping supplies. Bought one of the k-1 to have for chain cleaning and it fits perfectly in my storage tube. Perfect to avoid possible leaks into or onto the othe packed stuff. Should hold two bottle and though they are expensive the first time, just refill as needed and should last a long time. Easy to pour from as well. 1 quart each. My MSR fuel bottle doesn't work near as well.

Good idea - up here in Great White north - I use a Coleman Peak and use my storage tube for same. A 1 litre bottle fits in perfect. I also carry an Abosrbine junior bottle (with the sponge top) , filled with kerosene to clean the chain while on the road. Works well enough for several days and is small - just dab on.

I just found those same tractor manual canisters myself. I'm getting two to carry my MSR bottles in. They are $10 each at Tractor Supply Co., but can be had for $5 each from most online sellers.
