Just installede the PCIII USB with the stock map. Installation took less than 10 minutes.
Instead of stuttering and stammering at any rpm under 4000 the DL1000 now pulls nicely from 2000 rpm when rolled on gradually, and will cruise in town at 25 mph without bucking in 3rd gear. Hasn't choked or quit when the throttle is snapped shut. Pulled strong in 4th gear at 40 mph going UPHILL with narry a hiccup.
This is the V-Strom I thought I bought in the first place. It ain't perfect, but close enough for me....
Bought it from FUel Moto at a great price ($259.00 plus $10 shipping). I'd pay it again in a heartbeat.
