I live just south of Nashville in Lavergne. I am the only one in my group who rides a Vstrom. I get out and ride as much as possible, asphalt that is. I have a 05 all black model. Holler at me sometime if you want to get out and roll with us?



What is the deal with getting registered here, I can not get ahold of the adminstrator of this board to get activated?

Be nice to get together. I wish I would have checked the board earlier. I was planning on going on a ride tomorrow up 96 to Center Hill Lake and then back, about a 3 hour trip for me but should be nice. To be more to the point, from the Boro 70 to 53 to 96 to 290 then back down 56. The ride reports I've read about mid tn is that those are the better roads in the area for motorcycles. Anyone got ideas or want to get together for a ride let me know. I've just got 950 miles on my Wee, been off biking for about 10 years and I'm wanting to ride as much as I can. :D You can get a hold of me via this board or james at wolfsplace dot net. You know to change the "at" and "dot". :lol:

I'm Scott and I'm on the southeast side of Nashville near what used to be Harding Mall. Good to see there are some other V-Strom owners in this area.

Ok, plans are set. I'll be rolling in to TN the first wkend of July and staying until the 16th. Will be basing out of Music City but will likely cover every area in TN. Anyone want to join me on a ride??

Stromette just loves to ride. Period.... ride w/anyone, any level, anywhere and enjoy it all. (Though I don't ride in big groups for safety reasons). We'll exchange direct contact info via PM as the trip nears. :)

Sounds like a plan to me. Looking forward to it. However I suspect my piddly little 650 miles in the past 30 years puts me way down in the sub-newbie category :lol: I'm like you though, I just enjoy riding and I'm having a blast!

Uh, sorry about that! I meant to send you a PM and completely forgot about it. My bad.

We are tentatively planning to ride part of the Natchez Trace Pkwy on July 3. How much of it, whether we decide to go somewhere else, pretty much everything is still somewhat up in the air, but feel free to join in if you want. Anyone and everyone are welcome, and if you'll let me know I'll send you info on when and where we're going to meet.

Thanks Scott. July 3rd is a Monday. Is that date correct? If so, I can't join anyway, as I am already taking off three days from work on 6/21 through 6/23 to ride this;

But if it is Sunday, July 2nd, that is a different story. The Trace is pretty, but slow (40 MPH tops) and well watched by Johnny Law. The roads right around it and much more twisty and fun.

Edit - just realized I have 7/3 off, so I would be interested.
