You know... those triangular rubber things that cover the swingarm pivot on the '07s and '08s?
Does anybody know if they'll attach to the pre-07 Wee-Stroms? I've noticed that the black paint gets rubbed off in this area, and I'd like to install something to protect that area from day one.
Thanks!

They will fit. 43585-27G00 and 43595-27G00 are the part numbers. http://www.stromtrooper.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-4203.html shows other methods of protection that cost less and don't fall off.

One fell off my '07 in the first week or so. If you retrofit your bike, secure them well.

And, if I secure them well, that will suck if/when I have to get at that swingarm pivot. I'll probably go with these Speedstar ones. Thanks!

Silicone seal is commonly used. It holds well enough and releases easily enough.

wierd, i put some on my 06 (OEM suzuki ones) and they seem to stay of with a bit of suction, no glue needed.

I used a little grip glue on mine, seems to work well and it was handy.
