anyone out there got a strom?

Had one for about a month now... 2004 Silver/black DL1000. Bought it stock with Hardbags, Centerstand 2,250 miles from a dude in Iowa.
Been modding it over the past month. Corbin Seat, Windstrom shield.
It is at AF1Racing right now, getting LeoVince pipes installed, Ivan's TRE and Suzuki TEKA FI re-mapping & dyno tuned. They are also hardwiring my Valentine 1 :wink:

What do you ride now? I have had a couple of VFR's over the past six years and was ready for a change. More room, more upright, hard bags, etc... Went back and forth between FJR1300 or Strom. Decided to go for the big change and the Strom. FJR was still a little too similar to the VFR.

I have an '05 DL650 that I got 3 weeks ago. I just got my windstrom in today and have been messing around with it... It's an improvement but may have to go for that "TS" option...

Have not tried mine in the full - high position yet.
Still have noise, little buffeting in low and medium settings.
It is way better than stock, though.
