Tall Windshield Mod

This is how I decided to use the "free" tall shield I got with my bike. I asked the dealer to throw one in at purchase. Needless to say, I did not like it much, but I do now:) Masking tape, fine jig saw blade, and some sanding. Just re-attach the border and there you have it.

PS Just got back from a ride. Just like old times with no screen, except it does keep a good chunk of wind pressure off my chest which is just what I was looking for. I'll keep the stock screen for cold/long trip use

If you don't like it clear, use some 150 grit on the inside to scratch it up, and then paint the inside with 2-3 coats of flat black.
