Here's a compilation of best practices or Netiquette for Stromtrooper.com. These are not rules, but rather guidelines intended to enhance everyone's experience.
Please do familiarize yourself with the Stromtrooper forum and classified ad rules.
Please do keep in mind that civility and respectfulness are the watch words.
Please do take into consideration that Stromtrooper members come from countries, cultures, and time zones all over the world, and remain sensitive to and respectful of those differences.
Please do use the "Report Post" icon to alert the moderator team to inappropriate activity rather than PMing an individual mod. Using the "Report Post" facility is more efficient as it notifies all available mods and also flags the post in question.
Please do use the "Quote" button selectively when replying to a post, and just quote the particular portions to which you wish to respond. Include a "quote" of an image (i.e., repost the image in your reply) only to make a specific point about the image.
Please do express yourself as clearly as possible. Standard English with proper punctuation and capitalization will help you make your points most clearly.
Please do keep your For Sale Forum listings up to date by marking items as Sold, Pending, Withdrawn, or Found (for Want To Buys) as appropriate.
Please do consider download times when posting images. Keep the number of images in a post to a reasonable number and alert potential viewers in the post title if a number of images are included. Images should have appropriate pixel dimensions. Remember that everyone doesn't have the luxury of high speed internet (the Stromtrooper.com owner included :) )
Please don't post edited versions of other member's images without prior permission or a request for help with processing from that member.
Please don't engage in off-topic chatter in For Sale Forum threads, as this just pushes other, equally worthy threads down in the forum thread view page.
Please don't bump your For Sale Forum listings excessively (i.e., more than once daily).
